Half of the proceeds from our wine cooler raffle at Black Gold Jubilee went to the Lighthouse Cafe in Belle Glade. We presented a $250 check to them to help continue to feed the hungry. would like to thank everyone that came out to the Black Gold Festival at the Belle Glade Marina on Saturday, April 17th. Our turn out was hampered by the rain. Many visitors said they thought that not having a parade also kept people away. We heard one person say that they thought the parade got you fired up to load up and come out to the marina.
